The Collaborative Innovation Community (CIC) originally debuted at the 2012 NYTechDay event in May as BizHackathon.  An innovation community focused on applying inventions (technology) to business challenges.   The CIC is adding Participants, Advisors and Sponsors to deepen and broaden capabilities for producing innovation events that will include experiential learning (learn by doing), lean startup techniques and collaborative approaches to achieve early stage solution delivery.

The community will recommend event/challenges that based on participants and sponsors will be planned and executed via crowdsourcing community support.

The CIC Lightbulb Logo signifies collaboration, community and innovation. The lightbulb shape signifies innovation, the internal bulb color signifies collaborative community ('Sea of Participants") and the light rays signify action (visable outcomes - generation of events, projects, challenges, etc.).
